Validation of Architectural Requirements for Tackling Cloud Computing Barriers: Cloud Provider Perspective

Abstract Although researchers and organisations have recognised cloud computing obstacles in the prior adoption stage, few efforts been made to investigate address barriers depth during implementation projects. The current technical faced by governments, such as a lack of service availability flexibility, application service-level agreements (SLAs), deficiencies data security privacy, require proper strategic solution elevate role enterprise architecture. This research designed measured architectural requirements overcome common barriers. were guided through Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Development Method (ADM). employed qualitative approach three case studies providers. findings this provide validation overall support proposed value propositions with 12 identification-confirmed, newly emerged requirements, each which can successfully contribute overcoming government elicited presented matrix are focused on most important constructs different levels emphasis.
